I have a 10 1/2' zodiac 320 with a 15hp gamefisher outboard. The prop it has now is aluminium with the markings 9 x 8. What prop should I have for a higher top speed? The motor runs great but I got past by a heavier boat with a 15...he flew past me..

We took it out yesterday and it was running great! It idles great and all seemed fine... That is till a boat passed us with flyng colors and I noticed he had a 15HP *** well. Since the motor runs great it has to be the high speed jet right? As a side note I just bought it and the guy took out...
I have a 1999 Nissan NS8B that for whatever reason won't idle. Any ideas? Could it be the air/ fuel mixture? A couple twists of a screw? I mean don't get me wrong it runs and I'm happy it does (paid 120 for it) but I scare the crap out of everyone at the launch cause I have to come in so hot lol.
I just received a Johnson 9.5HP from my father in-law. Any idea why it wont start? I did a compression test and the upper was 71 and the lower was 74. I have spark and the carb is full of gas. Any idea's? :facepalm:
