    1971 70 hp chrysler

    i was given a 1971 70 hp chrysler which i was able to get running in about 5 min. It has 150# compression in each cylinder and is very clean.<br />Other than extra care and maintenance required by these motors are there any problems common to these motors that may or may not be prevented?

    1975 115 evinrude lower unit removal

    how do you disconnect shift rod on a 1975 115 evinrude?<br />i have a book that shows a clip on linkage for v4 models but i cant see it<br />all i see is a stud and nut on linkage by cables<br />and what looks like a roll pin under carbs<br /><br />any ideas?

    not again!!!

    its me again<br />i just went out to mess with my 75 115 evinrude when guess what! i have no fire AGAIN <br />after replacing pack,stator,rectifier,and timer base what would cause me to lose fire when i had it an hour ago?

    115 evinrude wont crank

    I have got a real head scratcher. I have a 1971 evinrude 115hp that will not crank. I started with no spark and replaced power pack. Now I have spark on all four cylinders but not at the same time. There is a warm up lever on control box and when lifted 3/4 up I have fire on only #1 and #3...
