    Where do I install the water seperator

    I am installing a water seperator on my 1997 130hp Johnson, but I have doubts on where to install it. Should I install it before or after the priming bulb? What are the draw backs of one or the other? Also, should I keep the 3/8 hose or reduce it to 5/16?<br /><br />Thanks.

    Water flow on 130 Johnson

    I own a 97 130hp Johnson and have some doubts about the water pump. While water does flow out, it is substantially less that what I was used to seeing from my old outboard (85 70hp Evinrude). Is this something common. A buddy of mine told me that it was. Just wanted to get another opinion.

    VRO system for '97 Johnson

    I am having an overhaul performed on my '97 Johnson 130hp engine. My mechanic is telling me I'd be better off shutting off my VRO system to my engine since it may have caused my original problems in the first place. Should I follow his advice or keep the VRO system activated?
