    Engine change

    Just for curiosity sake: Is it possible to exchange an Olds 455 engine ( boat currently has a OMC 351 240 hp Windsor ) and fit to an OMC 800 stringer outdrive. I happen to have this engine laying around-any comments appreciated; good/bad/or crazy thinking about it !!!

    Low rpm's

    I have a 24' Searay 240 srv with a 351 omc motor and an 800 stringer drive. My problem is this: I can only get 3600 rpms at WOT. I am down to a 151/2x13 pitch prop. Carb was rebuilt, new points, plugs, etc. I do live at nearly 6650 ft. elevation. Mechanic recently suggested installing 21:18...
