    1975 Johnson 70esl75e manual tilt stuck

    Hi all, I have a 'vintage' johnson 70 up motor. Tried tilting the motor up to replace the water pump but it won't budge at all. The motor is currently in 'run'. Ended up having to remove the motor from the transom in order to pull the lower unit. Anyhow...trying to figure out what is going on...

    Fly wheel nut

    Hey all, Took my fly wheel off (which was a huge pain) ,cleaned underneath it and tried to thread the nut back back on. The nut seems extremely tight; Is this normal? Should I get a new nut or try to use the existing? Also, I'm still trying to troubleshoot a no spark at the spark plugs...
