    Evinrude Power trim

    Does anyone know the size of the hex wrench that is used to add fluid to the power trim unit of a 1989 Evinrude 50hp? I am having trouble getting the screw loose and want to make sure that I will use the correct wrench. Any suggestions on how to loosen a stubborn screw would be appreciated.

    WOT RPM's only 4000

    I have a 1995 40HP Mercury 4 cylinder Model 1-040312R, S/N 0g161800 that will only run 4000 rpm's at wot. When you engage the choke it will then reach 5500 rpm's which the owner's manual states is correct. I have had both carbs off and cleaned them but could not get the main jet on the bottom...

    Cold natured Johnson 150

    I have a 88 Johnson 150 (v6) that starts up easily but will not accelerate. You have to run at cold start until you hear the motor rpm's straighten out and then you can go the rest of the day. You will be running at a rough idle and then all of a sudden the motor will begin to run correctly...
