    Proper lube weight for refilling Drive Lube container

    Have an '06 Bayliner with a 3.0 Merc. I noticed while checking fluid levels before taking the boat out today for its initial run of the year that the reservoir was low. Looked in my book and no mention is made of the proper fluid/weight to put in there. Help please.

    Waaaaaaay wrong prop?

    I just purchased a Bayliner 185BR at an auction. It has a 3.0 Mercruiser Stern drive and (2) 14.25x21 props. At WOT she is turning 3000rpms at a speedometer speed of 42mph. Shouldn't it be between 44-4800rpm? Why would these props be so far off?

    9.9 runs and then floods out?

    I have a '90 9.9 Merc. I can fire it up but have to keep revving it up quite high to keep it going. After a bit it will flood itself out. <br /> Could the carb need a cleaning, this is the first time I have tried to fire it up this year.
