I have a 1998 mercury 225 offshore that won't run good at anything below 1500 rpm's. It's been in and out of the shop but it's still not fixed. it wants to cough and spit at anything below 1500 rpms. It runs great once you get over 1500. The last thing the mechanic did was replace this valve...
