On the second outing, it appears that the overspeed limiter on my new Briggs 5hp outboard is stopping the engine. Doesn't surprise me since I'm a new boater and I've definitely scrubbed the prop through some mud/sand. The motor runs fine until I take it to full power then the overspeed...
