    Old Johnson Shifter piece broken (picture)

    I have a 68 Johnson 40hp w/ "Johnson controls". The shifter cable is attached to a very tough plastic looking object about 4 inches long(pictured below). The cable goes through this piece and 2 screws anchor the cable into place. Anyways, it's broken and I tried to 'gorilla glue' it but no luck...
