This is an old post I came across but it fits my issue
I have a similar issue my boat is a 27' Bayliner (LOA 30') and about 6000lbs I am currently running a 13pitch 15.5" and I only gets up to maybe 4000 rpm WOT
The 15 pitch I used to run had a hard time...
