    The other day my normal sonar and depth went out on my Humminbird 998, the Side scan and Down scan still work fine. Any idea what could cause this?

    Lower Unit seals failing repeatedly

    My 250 Pro Xs has blown three sets of lower unit seals in the last 5 weeks. Any Idea why this could be happening repeatedly? The first two times it was the prop shaft seal, looks like it was the shifting seal this time.

    Some metal on lower unit drain screw

    I was checking my lower unit oil on my mercury checking for water as I have replaced the prop shaft seal several times lately. I found some metal on the drain screw as you can see in the picture. They were all smooth and did not appear to be "chunks" in my opinion. Should I be worried?
