    fuel tank pickup tube

    I am replacing the pickup tube in my fuel tank, and would like to know which way the slash in the bottom of the the tube should face:confused:,forward or to the back of the tank?

    1998 merc 115 hp tilt tube pot side nut parts

    Other than the nut on the steering rod ,what else is behind the nut to keep the steering rod from flopping up and down when turned to the right? Have a new nut but it seems way to big on the inside to snug up the steering rod!:confused:
