    2000 115 tach faulty after starter change

    I have a 2000 Johnson 115, I just put a new starter in and now my tach does not work when I run it. The 4 starting sequence lights work when I turn the key but no tach (same guage as lights) is there any wires in the solenoid or starter that I could have mixed up that could have caused this? Thanks
