I have a 40 hp evinrude was running great on the hose all the sudden it just quit nothing won’t turn over or anything. Changed the solenoid and still nothing can jump solenoid with key on and there is no spark at the plugs. Could this be a ignition issue or other? This motor has aftermarket CDI...
the motor will start up fine the first 2 or 3 runs on the lake but acts like its not getting spark the next time I try to start it. after that I take 1 of 4 plugs out to check if its getting spark and put it back and it fires up after a couple cranks what could be causeing it to do this
