    Heavy steering?

    Why does my steering wheel feel so heavy to turn on my 17 foot proline with 115 merc when im going slow in no wake zones? When im standing still it steers easy no resistance but under way i strggle to turn. Is there a way to correct? Thanks

    Problems with tach.

    Im having problems with my tach on my 1998 115 merc 2 stroke. Replaced the reg/ rectifier. Have continuity on my grey wire from regulator to tach end checked grounds. Do tachs go bad??

    1998 mercury tilt/trim
