    I am pulling the lower cowling, looks like the oil injection pump needs to be removed; anyone with any experience with one of these? Any information would be appreciated.

    Stringer 400 outdrive tilt question ?

    I have R&R clutch pack, replaced clutch cover plate,gaskets, oil seals, o-ring cleaned everything lubed installed. Removed replaced tilt motor, hammer blow coupling was good. polished shaft cleaned worm gear. Replace battery up and down solenoids, cleaned all wiring connections thoroughly now...

    1983 Stringer 400 tilt worm gear shaft issue

    I have pulled the clutch pack. Pulled the worm gear,pulled motor and hammer blow cplg. The shaft will not slide out of the intermediate housing ? Is this normal or not ?

    OMC 400 Stringer 4 cyl GM Cobia Odyssey 195 cc Year and Model # help

    The Boat is 1983 or 1984, I do not know the Year of Outdrive but the model is #983486 ser #J373523. I cannot find anything matching these numbers. . Advice on the best service manual, and tilt trim information would be great. I will attach a pic.
