I know that the linkage rod that goes up to the tilt ram sticks up about 1/4 inch when the drive is in the down position (the small portion that sticks up through the hole so the ram hits it first to release it for 'tilt-up').

I've been hearing this "jingle-jangle" sound when on plane and I think I have found the culprit. Except I don't really know what to think of it. The red arrow is pointing to a 10MM bolt whose head is stuck in that void where the shift rod passes through between the two pieces. I've never had one...
