    Throttle goes way to far on shifter

    Hey guys! I have a 1985 force I got and when I push on the throttle it goes way too far down before it starts going. I mean it almost goes below the dash! Does this just mean the cable is too long? Any ideas how I could fix this?

    Plastic lumber for repair?

    So I have to do some replacing of rotten wood on this old boat I picked up (the seat bases) and I was thinking couldn't I just skip the fiberglass and install plastic lumber and calk it all and re carpet?
