1996 3.0 LX Mercruiser A1 Outdrive<br />When I am in the water, once my rpm's get to about 4000 my tach pegs out at max. The engine itself is not changing idle speed. Any ideas??
1996 3.0LX Mercruiser A1 outdrive <br />My shift cable was replaced two months ago. Out of nowhere, going from fwd. to neutral the boat stays in fwd. Also going from rev. to neutral the boat stays in rev. Do I need to adjust my shift cable?
Please help me out if you can with an 18" Sea Ray... My 1996 3.0LX Mercruiser started blowing my ingnition fuse when the boat was under power (appx. 5 minutes later). After it heats up, it will continue to blow new fuses immediately as soon as you replace the fuse and turn the key one...
