So I’ve been googling for a service manual for my motor and keep ending up in dead end, shady sounding websites. Where do you all get your manuals? Thanks! steve

Air but no water coming out of telltale

The motor is a 1987, 35 horse that I bought about a year ago. When I bought it the owner had it on mufs and started it up and it ran great with water streaming out the hole. The motor has just been sitting while I’ve been restoring the rest of the boat. Started it up today no problem but there...

Single switch for multiple courtesy lights

I want to wire in several courtesy lights and be able to turn them on/off with a single switch. What is the proper way to do that? Run all the leads back to a pos and neg bus bar, then from those run a single line to the fuse block and then from there to the switch? Thanks in advance!

    Bottom bunk (support) position

Hi all, I've been around boats and fishing my entire life however just recently purchased a (project) boat of my own. A question I have on the trailer is this: are the bottom bunk boards supposed to support the hull the entire length of the bunk? The ones on my trailer only support the very...

    Replacing wood flooring

Hi all, I purchased a 1987, 16' MirroCraft last week. The carpet and wood are shot so I planned to replace them. The plywood flooring is screwed to the hull and most areas I can access the screws no problem. However, the flooring runs under the foam filled compartments just an inch or so...
