    50 year cant find it

    i have a 50 blueband and cant seem to find my serial number on any of the year charts my serial number is 9248743 can any one tell me why my serial doesnt seem to exist

    im going to be installing my 81 merc 50hp, i would like to fit guages, i want a tacho, a pressure and a temp guage, what range would i need for the tach, the pressure and the temp guages, and what should typical redings be. also where would i instal the senders for these guages <br />cheers barry

    i have a 1981 merc 50 blueband pullstart i wanted to fit a tacho is there anyway to fit one and if so what rev range would i need, also what other guages could i fit I.E. temps or pressures cheers

    i have got a 81 merc 50 blueband and have found a pipe that comes out of the top of the lower unit at the front below the pivot(if you understand that well done) it looks like a breather pipe or similer, when you blow down it it vents at the front of the lower unit out of a small hole. can...
