    could the crankcase seal on a 73 6h evenrude leaking a bit of oil on points cause the moter to not idle? i replaced plugs and put carburator kit in and the same promblem happens

    how do i find out the year of a 6 h evinrude? is it within the serial #6302s c 83946. i want to buy a caburator kit. just curious to find the year of the motor.

    hard to start

    i have a 6h evenrude outboard motor and latley its been a real bugger to get started. once it runs it works fine but will not idle. the idling may be the fuel mixture screw. anyway any suggestions?
