    Power Pack test

    I have a 85 hp , 1969 Evinrude, I was wondering if there is any way to test the powerpack with it off the engine. I tryed testing it on the engine but didn't get the results that the manual called for, just wondering if maybe there may be some way of getting the powerpack tested. #389549.

    Impeller replacement on 9.5 Johnson

    I am wondering if I have to take the whole outer shell of the motor off to get to the impeller to replace it. The motor pumps water good, but I have noticed that there is water seeping out from the upper unit, inside the shell.

    I have a problem getting fuel. The engine will run if I pour fuel in the carb. I took the fuel pump off and wonder if there is suppose to be a rod or something going from the pump into the block. I just bought the motor last week.
