    cant switch older (1980) 15 hp into reverse

    Hi , We are working on a 1980 15 HP evinrude 2 stroke. We are having problems attaching the leg again since the gap is so tight that we can barely squeeze a screwdriver in. When we reconnected it , we can't change shift into reverse , but the forward and neutral are changing. ie the arm length...
