    I'm looking at purchasing this 97 Sprint 286. Right next to the pick up for the speedometer there is a hairline crack that runs from the screw hole to almost the top of the transom. Is it possible this is from the screw hole not being predrilled? Or is this from a damaged transom? It has a 150...

    40hp Mariner water pump bolts

    I changed out the impeller this past weekend. I managed to break about 3/4" off of one of the 2" long bolts that holds the water pump housing on. Anybody know what type of bolts these are? I know it is an M8 x 1.25 thread pitch but what type of material? A magnet will stick to it.

    Small hole in mariner block

    I purchased this boat in November. Iv'e had it out probably 10 times this winter with no issues. It's always been hard to start the first time of the day. After that it fires right up. I put new plugs in it and took it out for a few minutes today. It seemed to run fine. I got it home checking...
