I just bought a 93' Stratos with a 70hp Johnson on it. I was wondering if I could disconnect the automatic oil and just mix my gas. The reason is last year I had an Evinrude 40hp that I "think" the alarm was broken and didnt sound and I threw a rod thru the casing. Could someone please tell me...
Starts fine with choke engaged,then a little sluggish out of the hole,then kicks into high and runs fine, but after shutting off and sitting for awhile will not start back up. Could this be a coil problem?
