    shift control problems

    I just replced a broken cable and it worked right for 5 minutes then it wont go in reverse. I disconected the cables but still I cant get it to center so the shift is up where nuetral should be.<br />Any advice on what to do?????

    I have a 1977 evinrude 70 hp . I was searching iboats for new cables and the site says I need 1979-later cables . A least they look exactly like mine.<br />Also I need the rubber part that the control cables run throught at the motor . Any idea on what it is?

    starting problem

    Ive had 2 occasions where when I tried to start my 1977 70hp evinrude motor all I get is a click. after several trys the motors starts fine. Its only done this when the motor is cold.<br /> Would this be a silonoid problem or starter?

    trailer light problems , need help!!!!!

    Im haveing a problem with my trailer lights. It seems the the turn signal is weak (blinks fast) and wont work with brakes applied.It works fairly good if I turn off the running lights.<br />I have replaced the wiring harness , new ground, new wires and lights but still the same problem.

    Evinrude not pumping water right????
