    Maybe gimbal bearing?

    Just took the boat out for the first time since I bought it and everything was great.... For 10 minutes... and then this grinding sound happens at all times when the engine is on. I think it may be the gimbal bearing since it gets louder when turning but at 3.5k rpm it seems to not be there anymore?

    I just bought a 1988 sea Ray Seville and when I went to winterize it I realized that they guy before me must have sealed the Vent and drain for the gear oil.
