    21' stingray... Electric engine Cover Closed. Bat. Dead

    Hi, Working on a 21' Stingray. Cuddy. The problem is that the battery was left in all winter and the engine hatch is closed. The engine hatch is electrically operated. Anyway to open it? A manual release? Any hints would be great. I did find a 4 inch screw vent behind the drivers side...

    I have pretty silly problem. The engine cover to a 87 Stingray is closed and it's electrically operated. The problem is the battery is under the hatch and I can't open it. Is there a manual release? A hand crank or a cable to pull? Or do I have remove the hinges?
