    Ball Gears "Knuckle Gears' 74 OMC

    Had to do emergency reapairs on our 1974 OMC 165 straight 6 cyl. Think we put the ball gears one to the left or one to the right when we put the outdrive back on. We have noticed a clacking noise at trolling speed, and it seems there is new wear on the gears. Should we try to cange them back...
