    I have a 1979 20" cigarette with a 454/trs outdrive. I just replaced my shift acctuator only to find out that I shorted out my microprocessor in my mercontrol shifter.Where can I find a new or used microprocessor? Thanks, Bill.

    Is there a way to replace a electric shift cable with a mechanical one? I have a 20' cigarette with a built 454/trs outdrive.I am told that they no longer make the shift actuator that I need. Also is it possible to rebuild my existing actuator? Any help would really make my day,thanks Bill.
