    Mercury 200 EFI spark plug choice

    I have a 2000 Mercury 200 EFI Runs well but have a question on spark plugs. The sticker on the VST tank says use NGK BUZ8H. The Mercury manual says use NGK BPZ8HS-10. Both plugs work. I notice a bit of wear on the BPZ electrode after only 25 hours or so. Which plug is correct / preferred?

    trailer tire wear

    Yamaha 115 idle tuning

    I have a '97 Yammie 115 2 stroke that generally runs well. The only adjustment on the carbs is the pilot air screw with a nominal setting of 1.5 turns out from bottom. Is there a way to tune the idle setting other than by ear? There must be a way to dial the mixture in to the optimum setting...
