No real importance just trying to learn. I have twin engines. One fuel pump the clear fuel vent pipe to the carb has a suck and blow sensation on the end of the pipe when removed from the carb. The other has nothing when removed. The one that has nothing has running issues in general.

Hello everyone. I rebuilt my 3.0 Merc and have some sort of tap/knock around piston no3. Any advise and direction in solving. I have no interest in taking it to a shop as it’s a hobby and like to learn!
I couldn’t notice anything moving in the bottom end.
