i have a 1997 25hp 2 stroke, the manual says max rpm is 5500, but with the stock prop it turns 6000 to 6200. 1998 and up models say 6000 is max, any idea why this year model was rated lower?
Hello<br />recently i purchased a 1997 c25mlhv outboard used, after running wide open throttle ocasionally it will drop down to about 3000 rpm and looses power. i have replaced the plugs, water pump and thermostat. any suggestions?
