    1995 48hp evinrude Losing power?

    I cannot seem to get the boat (15ft sylvan space deck) to plane out. You can here the rpms on the engine when you punch it and then it looses power.     Gaping of Spark Plugs

    I decided to tune up my 48hp evinrude. I looked in the booked and the gap called for .030. I checked the gap on the old plugs and they were gaped at .040.     1995 48hp Evenrude spl Water in engine case

    Found some water leaking in the Engine case at the bottom. Cannot figure out where it is coming from. Engine runs good,no over heating. Has anybody experienced this problem or has any idea of where to start looking. Thanks
