I own a 18' Javelin with Johnson 150 Fast strike - bought new in 2000 and only had in water 3 times due to illness - I'm not terribly impressed with performance - had an 18' Stryker with Evinrude XP 150 that seems in my mind to run circles around the Fast Strike - both boats had same jack plates...
