Is there anyway to make a 1995 175 Mercury 2.5 litre efi, oil injected outboard "Tahoe Legal"? This would more or less be a way to cut the emissions down making it more like a 4-stroke. I don't know if this can be done or not.

my motor would go down but not up. i inter-changed the two relay switches with each other and the up still didn't work. the down now though trimmed the motor up. what does this mean? which part of the relay switch is bad? the part with the male end or the female end?

my power trim on a '95 mercury 175 will go down but not up. i read on here that it could be the trim limit switch. where is this located? it will not work at the throttle nor at the motor. could it be the relay also?
