    2000 merc 25 2str.

    I have a merc 25 that doesn't seem to have any power under load. I have checked the spark with a timing light and both cylinders are firing. Sitting at the dock with the engine cover off you can rev it as high as you want and it doesn't act up.--- so if it is a fuel problem i just can't see why...

    tiller shaft

    Ihave a 2000 25 h.p. merc 2 stroke. The tiller appears loose at the pivot point.I replaced the 2 nylon bushings but this made no difference. Could the tiller pivot shaft be worn itself? If so is this common and are there any fixes for this other than home-made shims? thanx for any help

    mercury 25 h.p. transom lock

    I have a 2002 merc 25 2str. When you put the engine in forward gear the locking pawl that engages the pin comes loose.There is a rod attached to the locking pawl that moves up to pull the pawl away from the pin as you increase the throttle in forward gear.Is this normal?--or is there something...
