    60 hp idles high

    Today I noticed my 01 yamaha 60 hp 2 stroke was idleing higher than normal.Tach reading 2000 when started then idles down to 1200 to 1400 rpms I know thats not wright.I checked linkage they looked normal.Last weekend boat idled fine.Just wondering what might cause this?Thanks for the help
