This is going to be my first restoration project. Where do I start? Do I make a list of little projects and work one at a time? Do I start on the engine first, after clean-up?
Where is the S/N on a OMC 120/140 engine block?
I found a K and several numbers on the block right above the starter. Will I be able to find out the HP with just the serial number??
I have a 120hp OMC and I cannot turn the engine by hand with the sparkplugs out and the started does not work I tested the starter for continuity and it tested bad... Can a bad starter prevent the engine turning over by hand???? The engine has been sitting up for a while.
I was given a 1979 19 Aristo Craft. It originally had a hardtop and canvas top on it. Does anyone know of a boat cemetery that sells this type of item??
