    Johnson milemaster 6 gallon tank question

    I have a 6 gallon milemaster (1958 i beleive) and i ordered the parts to rebuild the tank but I can not get the screws off of the top of the tank. It's almost like they are welded on! Does anyone have experience with this sort of this who can help me out? I dont really want to drill them out but...

    1958 Johnson Sea horse 18 Horsepower fuel ?

    My motor uses a two line pressurized tank but the tank that I have is leaking from the gasket. I don't know if i really want to rebuild the tank. Is there any way of installing the correct fittings on a new plastic gas tank and have it wrk correctly with the dual lines? Thanks -Eric-
