    Fusable leads for OMC tilt motor

    I need a fused link that comes of an assist solenoid for the tilt motor on an OMC Stringer. It looks like a lump of melted rubber. My manual states that it is a 100 amp fuse. Can I just replace this with an inline fuse from a more modern era?
