    Alum. paint prep question

    So, I was planning on lightly sanding, washing and spot-priming the inside of my tinny before I paint. #1 is spot priming only the bare spots ok? #2 is scotch brite ok to use for this purpose instead of sandpaper? #3 if scotch brite is not ok, then what type of sandpaper should I use for this?
