I'm currently in the market to buy a Bayliner 2858 of circa 1998 vintage that has a Cummins/Mercruiser 4.2 6 cyl turbo diesel. (UK petrol prices are crippling!)
I note that the recent Bayliner 2858 (now rebadged as 288) has the 4.2 diesel injection model producing 250hp,a friend has one...
