    Motorcycle tach on an o/b?

    I have an old but never used aftermarket stand alone motorcycle tach sitting in my storage building just collecting dust. It will work with 2 or 4 cylinder motorcycles. Any of you guys know if this might work as a temporary tach for my 1985 Evinrude 115 until I get some new gauges?

    no go in gear?

    OK guys..here's my problem..I was out today and my motor started doing the bump...it's only done it once or twice before. As I was heading in the motor just started revving with no propulsion. I throttled back and put it in neutral, and when I put it back in gear it would go...but VEERRRYYY...
