    SD 217 Hurricane

    I have a 2005 5.0 L MPI w/1.47 gear ratio. My current prop is a Vengeance 19P 14 dia. Looking to replace it. My top speed is 46MPH (GPS) with 2 people and full tank. Anybody got the same boat with a better top in? IF so what prop are you using? Thanks

    my current prop is a SS vengeance 19P 14D. At WOT and 5000 RPM's gps speed is 49MPH at optimum trim. I have a deck boat (fairly heavy). Engine is a 5.0L MPI mercruiser with 1.47 gear ratio. Mfr recommended rpms (4600-5000 rpm) When its time to replace the prop I'd like to hit that 50MPH mark...
