    Carb. Rebuild Tips

    I am rebuilding my 2bbl merc. carb. this weekend. Any tips or advice for a first timmer? Also, the manual says the coating inside the bore, and the paint on the outside, should not be removed.. What can I clean/soak this with that wont also remove these finishes??? :confused:

    Replacement for this Part???

    This is why my shifter (remote control) wont work! This is the gear behind the throttle lever that moves the shift cable. It is a Quicksilver brand, single lever, dual control. Off my '93 Mariah w 3.0L merc. Can I buy this part anywhere?

    Shift/Throttle lever Jammed

    I have a 93 Mariah Diablo with the GM 3.0l and an Alpha 1 outdrive. The shift lever says "quicksilver" (brand?) on it. I was trying to trouble shoot a stalling engine when shifting into gear (shift cable? or ???) When moving the shift lever from full forward to neutral it was sticking, I...
