I'm going to be installing a hummingbird 595c on my boat this weekend and moving the lowrance x-50DS up front next to the trolling motor. My question is can I keep the lowrance transducer mounted on the rear of my boat. The lowrance is a dual freq. unit and operates on either 83kHz or 200kHz...
Anyone else with this motor have the fuel pump go out within the first 10-15 hours on the motor? I hope it is an isolated issue and not a sign of things to come with the Merc...
I just pulled my boat out of winter storage and fired the engine up and noticed that no water was coming out of the water pump indicator hole. (Engine has not been run since October 07) I have a large tub that I lowered the motor into so that the water intake holes were completly submerged...
I recently purchased a 2007 Fish Hawk 1600 which did not come with a radio. Does anyone have any experience or advice for installing a radio for this model boat? There currently is no hole cut out in the counsel for the radio or holes for the speakers (installing 2 speakers).

Can someone explain what the difference is between power trim and power trim and tilt? I'm looking at purchasing a 2007 Mercury 60HP 4 stroke, and I noticed that it comes standard with power trim, but does not mention anything about tilt. :confused:
