    i just aquired an older mercury outboard motor and am interesting in reviving it. i ran the serial number thats on the motor and i came up with nothing. s/n 5716597 225 hp v6....can anybody tell me what model # or year or something to get me started. thanks bryan

    early 80's mercury 50 hp prop
